Sofia Youngs is a senior at Los Alamitos High School. Throughout her time at Los Al, Sofia has worked with NBC: Channel 4, Fox Sports Network, Spectrum News, and ESPN for freelance sideline reporting and play-by-play commentary. As of current, Sofia is an investigative journalist and producer with Long Beach Local News and column writer for the Sun Newspaper. When not working throughout the Southern California area, Sofia enjoys creative writing, surfing, hiking, and filmmaking in her Film Class. Sofia joined this class after campaigning for its revival throughout her junior year of high school in hopes to inspire young writers.
