LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. – Three circles together make any Disney adult have a seizure.
“Yeah, when my daughter had her colonoscopy in the emergency room, I saw a hidden Mickey and I freaked out. Holy Disney reference,” said Ima DidneyAdult, smiling while her daughter suffered in the background.
The hidden Mickey obsession has sent some Disney Adults into seizures, comas, death and even heart/fainting attacks. Emma Did Neyadol dived onto the floor when she saw two gum spots connected by a mysterious circular object in a Los Angeles street.
“Hidden Mickey, hidden Mickey, hidden Mickey, hidden Mickey!” screamed Did Neyadol before promptly taking a leap onto the floor and passing out.
Besides convulsions, some Disney adults have been getting hot flashes whenever they see a Loungfly backpack in stock. During Black Friday, these adults stormed the Loungefly store and trampled multiple people.
“Please get these Disney adults out of here! Deport them!” yelled trampled victim Broch A Cho.
Cho runs an anti-Disney adult hate page, nicknamed the @Deportdisneyadultsblog. She has 1,000 followers and they are planning to protest and strike because Disney adults are running rampant in the park.
“On March 6th, be there or be square! We are tearing down the Disney square and pushing the Disney adults out of the park,” said Cho.
The blog members are terrified that the Disney adults will end up finding them. Some hide in corners of the park when they hear that Disney adults are coming.
Other Disney adults become insane over things besides hidden mickeys such as Disneyland food, characters and millennial culture.
Disney adult Yaema Dum B. apparently was so obsessed with Disney that she caused her own divorce.
“Yeah, she highkey spent my whole college tuition on Disney, haha. I asked her to make a deposit to my college and she just laughed and said she had more important things to spend it on,” said Ima Vic Tim, son of Yaema Dum B.
Vic Tim stated that Dum B bought 2000 limited edition plushies of the critically-hated Wish goat character, costing $500 million.
“Whatever, I don’t care. I do what I want,” said Yaema Dum B.
Even Disney food, characters and culture were not enough to stop Disney Adult John Doe. Mr. Doe, a homeless Disney adult, apparently leaped over the Disneyland fence, running 300 miles until security caught up to him and sedated him. What was he trying to get? A custom Ratatouille plush.
“Yeah, I might have gotten caught and tazed, but those few full seconds running with that plush in my hand, I felt like it was worth it,” said a bedridden Doe.
Scientists are currently working on a cure, but honestly, it’s looking a little hopeless.
“Disney adults are so insane, we were convinced they were on crack or some other type of drug. But it looks like it’s a mix of Bibbidty Bobbidty Boo Boutique glitter and Mickey themed pretzels that’s really causing this infection,” said Dr. Ant Idid Nayadul.
Besides, Disneyland food, characters and culture, this infection seems to be fueled by nostalgia, escapism and futile fleeting happiness. Hidden Mickey hunting, attending shows/rides, collecting pins and “Disneybounding,” or dressing up as Disney characters are common activities that Disney adults participate in.
“My name is Pooh Bear,” said John Shaun, a Disney-land-based furry.
Furries are people that identify as animals. Shaun runs the Disneyland furry account, @uniteddisneylandfurry.
There seems to be no hope left for a Disneyland run by Disney adults.
“We are afraid we might have to close down the park due to the sheer takeover of Disney adults,” said Mickey Mysz.

I really liked how you blended humor and seriousness in order to create an opinion piece.

Having a Disney pass myself in the past, I can relate to the fearful tone towards what these adults have come to. Additionally, the names chosen for this article are very clever. It was overall a very engaging piece of writing sprinkled with humor, wit, and valid commentary.

I really liked reading this article because I love anything about Disney. I died at all the jokes (especially the one about college tuition that’s tragic haha) but it’s so true that people go absolutely feral for all the merch Disney has to offer but I can’t say I blame them. The research is pretty accurate I myself love collecting pins.

I love this article by Amelia Gutierrez. I think that the Disney Adult issue is an excellent topic to explore satirical writing and totally think it was executed well. I also share a disliking for the ridiculous Disney Adults and found this article very entertaining. I love the quotes from fake Disney adults, it really brought the piece together.

I really enjoy this commentary because I also agree that Disney adults are getting out of hand; it is frustrating me when attempting to get beignets or cute ears at the parks. The names had me giggling really bad. My teacher heard and threw a few looks my way.
