INDIO, Calif. — The one and only 2000s male icon, Justin Bieber, makes his way to the main stage at the 2026 Coachella Festival these last two weekends. Performing live again since his last tour, the Justice World Tour in 2022, Bieber has broken multiple records in merchandise and ticket sales, earning the title of the highest-paid Coachella performer in history by raking in over $10 million for his headlining sets.

Weekend One:

During the first weekend of the Coachella Festival, Bieber performed his first set on the main stage, with around 125,000 people in attendance and 100 million people tuning in online. Amid the crowds of die-hard Beliebers, a nickname for his fans, the crowd was spiraling into a frenzy over a Bieber appearance.

The Canadian singer began his setlist with newer songs, beginning with “All I Can Take,” followed by “Speed Demon” and “Go Baby,” from his latest album, “SWAG.”

In the middle of his set, Bieber shifted towards a more chill, laid-back performance, which has earned him some controversy online as he browsed YouTube on his computer, playing viral videos of himself with paparazzi and his old music videos.

This included the fan favorite “you’re not getting it, it’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business” confrontation and playing a blooper clip of him falling off stage.

During his sit-down session, Bieber also played his 2000s hits, “Beauty and a Beat” and “Baby.”

As some don’t understand the logic of Bieber bringing out a computer in front of hundreds of thousands of people, lifelong fans portray it as his way of acknowledging the innocence he lost at a young age as a product of the industry, and as Bieber’s way of showing true authenticity to his crowd. Beiber completed his 90-minute set with a firework show as he played one of his top hits from “SWAG”, “Daises.”

Weekend Two: 

Bieber’s second headlining set took place during weekend two, as some fans label it even better than the previous weekend. The Canadian singer began his 30+-song setlist with his newer SWAG songs, then shockingly brought out Sexxy Red, an American rapper, to sing Bieber’s “Sweet Song.”

Not only did Bieber bring one special guest to the stage, but he also brought out SZA, Big Sean, Dijon and Billie Eilish. The Coachella fans erupted in tears and cheers for Eilish when she was featured as the “One Less Lonely Girl” in Bieber’s song.

After Sexxy Red’s appearance, Bieber went back to performing his latest songs, including “Mother In You,” “Dotted Line,” and “Things You Do.” When performing his track, “Everything Hallelujah,” Bieber shouts out his son Jack and his wife, Hailey Bieber, by saying: “Baby Jack Hallelujah, Hailey babe Hallelujah.” Bieber then shifted back into some of his 2000’s top hits before exciting the crowd with even more special appearances.

For the second-to-last song of Bieber’s set, he collaborated with SZA to perform her “Snooze” track, and ended the epic “Bieberchella” weekend off with “Daises.”
