But what is the Slushy Noobz YouTube channel?
The Slushnoobz YouTube channel was created in 2023. Martin and Hamzah were both famous TikTokers; they had thousands of followers with millions of likes and views on multiple videos. Hamzah was part of the TikTok content group @4FreakShow, and Martin was popular for his dry humor in his personal videos. Martin was from Canada and Hamzah was from the United States. Luckily, they ended up connecting on TikTok, then meeting in Toronto, Canada, making their YouTube channel, which currently has over one million subscribers.
They started to gain traction in 2025 through the popularity of their “brainrot” gaming videos, vlogs and mukbangs. Their YouTube style mimics early 2010s child YouTubers, and often includes intense “online sludge” or pop culture references. Their videos are often a mix of vlogs, gaming and “dayglo nihilism” (a reflection of postmodern attitudes, cultural critique and existential emptiness common in the 1980s and 1990s).
The Slushy Noobz are very involved in pop culture, from conflicting attitudes towards pop icons, like Demi Moore, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift, to Martin modeling for the popular fashion brand Heaven by Marc Jacobs and even dressing up as pop culture characters such as Elphaba, Glinda, Mr. Beast and the “White Chicks” characters (Tiffany and Brittany).
Their pop culture impact was solidified in 2025 when they held a viral boxing match against each other.
Besides becoming pop culture icons, the Slushy Noobz also donate and volunteer at charity and food drives. According to Patreon and other merch contact channels, Slushy Noobz have volunteered at Toronto’s Nourish East End on Dec 2025 at 24 McGee Street. They encouraged followers to donate to the drive by giving non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products to community members. On Eventbrite and Instagram, Hamzah and Martin promoted the event and also encouraged people to follow and donate to Nourish East End.
“Slushy Noobz, Martin and Hamzah host a popular YouTube channel based in Toronto. In December 2025, they reached out to Nourish, offering to host a food drive event with their fans,” said the Donors – Nourish East End website.

Slushy Noobz represents the era of the internet where authenticity, irony, and chaos blend together to create magnetic attention. Their humor, editing, and ability to turn everyday moments into entertainment are what make them so popular. They help shape the language of modern social media, with their influence stretching beyond YouTube, inspiring trends, online humor and the audience that interacts with the creators. Slushy Noobz is evidence that personality and genuine connection can leave a huge impact on popular culture and online entertainment.
