Los Alamitos High School sophomore Al Clary has been creating art for nearly six years. Clary has drawn inspiration from a wide variety of works, including “The Owl House,” “Hollow Knight, Ultrakill” and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” “This One, The Void Shall Not Take” is a work of fan art from the game “Hollow Knight: Silksong.”
“My process has remained much the same: gather references, make a sketch, line the sketch, add color, render the color, add additional lighting effects, and add my signature,” Clary said. “I like to make art because I get to put the things in my head on paper/screen and that makes me happy.”
