Reese Neiger is a junior at Los Alamitos High School. This is her third year in journalism. She enjoys writing features on current events as well as important worldly topics. She is currently the Co-president of the Red Cross club and a member of the Literature Appreciation club. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing and traveling. When reading and writing, she often listens to Billie Eilish and Fleetwood Mac. Reese is excited to pursue her path in journalism and continue writing articles that capture her peers’ interest.

Alyssa Mathews is a junior and entering her second year of journalism as an editor. Alyssa is on board for CSF and Growing Up STEM. In addition to the Griffin Gazette, Alyssa also contributes articles to LA Times High School Insider and is a part of their Student Advisory Board. She loves swimming and going to the beach. She hopes to write more articles about topics that she finds interesting such as student interest and explore more opportunities in journalism.
