Amelia is a junior at Los Alamitos High School, and this is her first year in journalism. She loves watching movies, hanging out with her friends, trying different foods, the color green and cold weather. Some of her favorite movies include “The Corpse Bride” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Her favorite places to go during the weekend are Irvine Spectrum, the Tibor Rubin Library and Signal Hill. She also enjoys reading, painting and writing in her free time and wants to be a published college English professor when she grows up. In journalism, she hopes to publish new articles, explore new perspectives and build her creativity. She is looking forward to a great year with the Griffin Gazette!
