Serena Barron is a sophomore in her first year of journalism. She aspires to become an animal rehabilitation specialist because of her love of animals. She currently fosters kittens at the LBAC shelter near El Dorado Park. Her love for the French language drives her passion for visiting Belgium in the future. Serena is a very deep thinker and because of that, she joined journalism to write her opinions for the public. She wants to explore writing about, music, small sports, arts and is looking forward to creating podcasts.
