Lily Zimmerman is a freshman at Los Alamitos High School. She has taken journalism classes since sixth grade and loves photography and writing. She looks forward to learning different writing styles and meeting new people through journalism. Outside of school, Lily enjoys archery, reading fantasy and mystery books and longboarding.

Mrs. Castiglione began class by reading a hypothetical scenario of an astronaut dying in space. The class discussed how the body would decompose and what the best way to handle it would be. "I really enjoy seeing a different cross section of students that normally wouldn't be in any of my classes," Castiglione said. "It's kind of cool getting to know (different) types of kids."
