Kaiya Velasquez is a sophomore in her first year of journalism at Los Alamitos High School. She enjoys reading various pieces of writing and literature, further becoming curious about writing and herself. She loves to capture the opinions and stories of others to gain new perspectives to write about. Her favorite places are Huntington Beach, Central Library and her home. She loves going out for sweet boba tea with her friends and eating pastries.
