KTLA Morning News filmed on Los Al campus this morning
The Los Alamitos High School Griffins get featured on KTLA Morning News for its vibrant school spirit.
Last night, Los Alamitos High School principal Mrs. Christiana Kraus sent an email to the Los Al community announcing that a crew from KTLA Morning News would be on the Los Al campus between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. The email said that the news team would be on campus for a special segment on school spirit.
“Griffin students, including ASB, Band, Show Choir, Song/Cheer, and more, will be featured during three live segments taking place at approximately 6:45 a.m., 8:35 a.m., and 10:35 a.m.,” the email stated.
Students arrived to school this morning gaping at the two KTLA vehicles parked in front of the Performing Arts Center (PAC). A giant poster was hung at the top of the STEM building by the ASB team to welcome the KTLA crew. However, most of the filming took place early in the morning.
“I thought that it was a fun experience, although we had to arrive very early,” Trent Massey, a freshman and member of ASB, noted.
The surprise and novelty of a news crew at a high school campus has excited the Los Al community, and it is always thrilling to be featured on television.
