LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. — On Nov. 13, Los Alamitos High School’s dance team will have its very first performance of the year. “Terra Volta” will have four showings throughout Nov. 13-16 at the Performing Arts Center.
This show will have two different times to choose from. If you are looking for an earlier time, Wednesday will have a show at 4:30 p.m. The rest of the performances will be later at 7 p.m.
This is perfect for people who love thriller and performances like the Percy Jackson musical from LAHS’ theater program. You will definitely love this dark carnival themed dance show! It will have an incredible combination of music and dance.
The show’s plotline will follow three friends who think that “Terra Volta” is a normal carnival show, yet, at the night’s end, only one is able to escape the circus, completely changed by what she has witnessed.
“I love watching the dance shows! They’re always so cool and really well done, so it’s usually really good,” said LAHS junior Phoebe Claire.
LAHS’ dedicated dancers have been working for months to prepare for this upcoming dance show so make sure you buy your tickets before they sell out!
“I am really excited to be in the show. We’ve been (preparing) for a long time,” said freshman and Intermediate Dance member Lily Ruiz.
Not only are the participants excited, but LAHS’ students are also thrilled to attend and watch “Terra Volta” to support our dance programs.
“I’ll definitely be going to the dance show, it seems like a lot of fun and a lot of my friends are in it so I want to go watch it for them,” said freshman Ayla Gosset.
Tickets go on sale this week at Ticketleap.com, so make sure to buy your tickets to support our dance program! However, be warned, if you enter this carnival, you may never return the same.
