LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The yearbook class has been working hard to perfect Los Alamitos High School’s yearbook for its publication at the end of the year. One great piece of memorabilia that students can buy for the yearbook to look back upon as they grow older is senior ads.
“It’s [going to] be there forever. Even when you look back at it in 10 years, you’ll be able to look at your baby photos and graduation photos,” said Danny Valenzuela, a member of Los Al’s yearbook staff.
Senior ads are pages in the yearbook that families can buy for their seniors to celebrate their graduation. They can include baby photos, graduation photos, professional photos, and any other pictures that have significance to the student.
Students can have the yearbook staff design the layout with their chosen photos, or they can design the layout themselves. There’s even an option to include a heartfelt message for the person’s page. Griffins can also split an ad with friends to showcase their friendship throughout the years.
“I recommend that you buy one with your group of friends because it’s super nice,” said Ysabelle Wright, another yearbook staff member.
The order form is due no later than this Friday, Dec. 15. Students can find the form in the Los Al newsletter that comes out each weekend. Payments can be made online through the QR code in the newsletter or submitted to the Activities Office by Friday.
A full page costs $325, a half page costs $180, and a quarter page costs $105.
The maximum number of photos for a full page is 20, for a half page it is 10, and for a quarter page it is five. The fewer the photos, the larger they will be on the page.
Send an envelope with the order form, photos, message, and payment (if not paid online) to the Activities Office.
The images and message can also be sent via email to: [email protected].
