LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The Ethnic Studies club is having a fundraiser on Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help raise money for Filipino Heritage Month. The fundraiser will at  Teofilio’s Filipino Coffee Shop across the street from Los Alamitos High School. Students who attend are encouraged to bring the fundraiser’s flier, found on the club’s Instagram, the coffee shop’s Instagram, and with teachers around campus. 15 % of the fundraiser’s proceeds will go to farmers in the Philippines. If students have any questions, they can ask Ms. Avin֮a in room 707.

“Our goal is to spread awareness about Filipino businesses and encourage people to support them,” Ethnic Studies club president Jonas Corliss said.
